Kicking off his martial arts career at age 10, Jason Baltov has continued to train and teach Kyokushin Karate for 20 years. A strong alliance with the International Kyokushin Karate Organisation (IKO 1) Matsui and Australian Kyokushin Karate has seen both Baltov and his Team of Illawarra Kyokushin instructors at the forefront of training progression.

As a knockdown fighter Baltov’s experience speaks for itself, although having to lie about his age to compete full contact at age 14 he now continues to dominate the Australian Kyokushin Karate Middleweight division as a 4 time Full Contact Australian champion.

Previously claiming 2nd in the Middleweight Division of the IKO 3 World Cup 2006, Baltov also occasionally steps into the kickboxing ring where he has had great success.

Although Kyokushin has always been a major and important part of his life, it has also contributed to Baltov’s success in other areas of life. As the Chief Illawarra Kyokushin Karate Instructor and a Kickboxing Coach, Baltov attributes his ability to deal with his demanding professional work schedule to the discipline and hard physical training associated with Kyokushin Karate.
